Mariana Navarro is a graphic designer and visual artist based in São Paulo, Brazil. Her passion for art and letterforms has led her to dive into the wonderful universe of lettering, and over the years, she has been improving her knowledge and letter-drawing skills by participating in several workshops with great artists and designers. Since 2018, she has been working as a freelancer, creating projects specializing in lettering and calligraphy for editorial illustrations, logotypes, murals, and more. Her approach to each project is focused on finding the perfect balance between traditional and digital techniques.
Since 2023, she has also been part of the design team at Plau Design, a Brazilian award-winning design studio focused on typography and branding. This new experience is leading her to explore the typography world, and she has already been working on her first typefaces.
